Will I see you by the sea?

I forgot about those pictures completely and just approaching the summer reminded me of them.

I made them in February, I guess, for the project being contributed by a whole group of quilters. The aim was to make something related to the sea in a freestyle technique.

The differences in perception of the world are easy to find, I believe. For Her everything is more colorful and She’s not interested in a regatta which He observes. She rather looks at a lonely white sail… There’s a spacetime curvature right in the middle, if you ask 😉 Those two pictures will be put in two different places of the quilt so there’s no need for making them match perfectly each other.

The first picture. A man with his pet, which is my favorite dog in one of our home pictures.

I declared myself to make two pictures so I created another one with a lady. With some food in her picnic basket having relax on her patchwork blanket.

I realized that there was a bottle in a scrap left from making the blanket so I’ve put it into the basket. The dog abandoned the ball, it seemed, that he liked the regatta too.
