Bringing spring home by another flower picture creation.
The Spring, for which I was waiting eagerly, arrived as usual. Unfortunately this time along with all the fear and uncertainty.
Be well all of you!

I wanted to make a bouquet for quite a time. This time Joanna was “the culprit” too, sending me a link to Pinterest, which triggered my action without a single word. I sewed it for few days in a row.
When we arrived in our current dwelling place I was delighted by a birch growing just behind the window. A familiar view in a strange world and one of my favorite trees.
I started this quilt more than 3 years ago in 2016, most likely in the summer. Patchwork was then still new to me. Also in my imagination two pieces of the fabric could only be sewed using straight lines.
It’s almost time to think about the next dwelling 😉 And the Red Robin with a twig in his beak knows well about it.
I like birds a lot and a lot of them dwell in our home, but even more sing behind the window. I also like to sew them and this one is an outcome of such desire and the desire for oncoming spring, for which I’m waiting greatly.
A tender gesture made by trees can provoke a question as in the title. Or it can be ignored, as many phenomenons occurring here and there.
This is another work inspired by Marta Konieczny’s watercolour painting. As I already mentioned, we are thinking about a joined exhibition, but in order to hold one we need to have something to show.
