When we arrived in our current dwelling place I was delighted by a birch growing just behind the window. A familiar view in a strange world and one of my favorite trees.

Spring buzz
It’s almost time to think about the next dwelling 😉 And the Red Robin with a twig in his beak knows well about it.
Wren
I like birds a lot and a lot of them dwell in our home, but even more sing behind the window. I also like to sew them and this one is an outcome of such desire and the desire for oncoming spring, for which I’m waiting greatly.
Is this a friendship?
A tender gesture made by trees can provoke a question as in the title. Or it can be ignored, as many phenomenons occurring here and there.
Birdie
Joanna sent me a link to some inspirational picture. It was so powerful, that I couldn’t forget about it.
Birds of Paradise
There was a competition in March in which I took part. It was about March patchwork works, so I sent mine.
In the nest
My ideas have various sources. Sometimes it’s about a particular moment in time, sometimes about the need to cool myself down and finally just for simple joy of creation. Probably there are even some more. The inspiration comes from a piece of fabrics, from a picture, a remembered view and, above all, the world around.
Blue Birds
A controversial title somehow…
It’s for the some time already as I wanted to use this title at one of my works. It’s supposed to be a different one but it delays all the time, so I decided to use at least a name to it.
Red Robin
Sometimes I meet him in our park. He has his favorite tree and seems to ba a curious creature. A lovely little ball of feathers.
Snippet bird
Is it possible to sew something because of its name? Yes, it is.
This is the third and probably the last one of the series. I had two already; Scrappy park bird and Scrappy garden bird. Now it’s time for a Snippet bird belonging to a scrappy family 😉
