Long long time ago and far far away…
And this is actually true, not a fairy tale… The first table runner like this I sewed just recently (or it seems so), but actually it was seven years ago, in another home, another plave, different country even.
The plan was to make one table runner, but then I realised that I had a little table too, so the smaller one “popped up” too 🙂 . To be honest I just wanted to use this beautiful fabric with trees till its end , and it’s been enough deers too.
I cut the material with trees in half and then joined it with a strip of the forest road. This made the trees not being so regular and more like a winter forest. Quilting is also in pine trees, and the stars ornamented the road. This way the larger table runner (110 cm x 50 cm) was ready.
The little table runner (76 cm x 36 cm) has been made slightly differently. I extended the light area in the middle by adding the relevant belts on its ends and decorating it with the stars again.
When finishing off Elves and table runners there were still some scraps left, so, they had to be used too, but about this you can read in my next post.
