Best wishes to all!

A life full of colors!
This work took me back to the beginning of my adventure with patchwork. I used some of my favorite fabrics almost to the last thread, first cutting large rectangles for the quilt, and then from what was left – tiny ones for pillows. Fabrics from which so many colorful works were created, those combined with black 🙂
The set is a wedding gift and I have included a lot of good wishes for the newlyweds’ further journey together 🙂
Mustard fleece duvet
More than two years ago I sewed a duvet for Ela
When I was making it and already created many blocks, I realised that I diverted from the light creame colours theme which was supposed to be leading. I’ve put the dark blocks aside and used it then for another piece that now, after many months has been finished. I believe it was worth it. It’s nice and warm – just right for the coming winter naps.
Winter night
When I was a child, long winter nights with light reflexing on the snow where pretty much every day’s experience.
A downhill sled ride from a little hill nearby, until we couldn’t breath and our fingers were numb. Straight into the fairy tale forest. The icerink just next to our house, made by my mum, full of neighbors’ kids. And home returns, warming frozen feet on a radiator and frozen palms with a cup of tee… All the charm of snowed and frozen winter.
Navy blue trees
This picture, in its particular form, has been created by “accident”. Initially the background has been created for the previous Folk style trees, but it din’t suit me for the purpose, so I created a new and lighter one.
Summertime
As I already mentioned once, after the autumn trees and spring trees I was going to make some more for the other seasons too.
Pots
This was a long-standing idea, but just recently I’ve gathered all the fabric I needed to realize it.
The simple shapes and warm colours came from the South of Europe – frequent destinations of our summer holidays.
The pots of Alghero put on walls of old town narrow streets sharing their merciful shadow from the powerful Sun. These are the memories of journeys – the only ones I can take these days.
At my magic house
I bought this beautiful colourful fabric long time ago. Sometimes I desperately need a colourful things around, so I used it just now.
Orange impression
I wanted to make a bouquet for quite a time. This time Joanna was “the culprit” too, sending me a link to Pinterest, which triggered my action without a single word. I sewed it for few days in a row.
White Birches
When we arrived in our current dwelling place I was delighted by a birch growing just behind the window. A familiar view in a strange world and one of my favorite trees.
